Kelly Clarkson and Pentatonix Wow With Performance of “My Grown Up Christmas List” [Watch]

-

On the recent holiday special Pentatonix: A Not So Silent Night, the famed a cappella group joined voices with everyone from the Backstreet Boys to Maren Morris. But it was their rendition of “My Grown Up Christmas List” with Kelly Clarkson that seemed to make quite the impression, especially for Today host Hoda Kotb.

“Someone needs to define this awesomeness to me,” Kotb wrote on her Instagram page on Tuesday (Dec. 11) alongside a video of the amazing performance. “OMG.”

Our thoughts exactly Hoda.

Indeed, when Clarkson hits that high note towards the end of the song, there is nothing like it. What a voice! Luckily, fans everywhere will soon have a chance to witness that voice first hand when Clarkson heads out on her Meaning of Life Tour starting Jan. 24 alongside openers Kelsea Ballerini and The Voice’s Brynn Cartelli.

“Meaning of Life” is the album I always wanted to make and I am so excited to finally be able to tour it! “ says Clarkson in a recent press release about the tour. “Even while recording it, I couldn’t wait for people to experience the music live, to not only hear it, but feel it. It has taken almost a year of planning, and I can’t wait to see y’all on the road!”
