Kelly Clarkson is truly one of America’s greatest treasures. She has to be one of the most genuine, kind and personable celebrities to ever exist. There are dozens of examples of Kelly’s genuineness– her incessantly kind tweets, her ability to forget lyrics to her own songs that she wrote and that big, beautiful laugh.

Recently, Kelly revealed her greatness once again during an appearance on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live.” Kelly’s interview pairing was with legendary rocker Melissa Etheridge, who’s been in the gossip rags lately because of her former friendship with Brad Pitt (or something like that). Kelly barely knew anything about Pitt, Etheridge’s non-involvement in his life or Pitt’s divorce from Angelina Jolie. This isn’t because Kelly has been under a rock, it’s because she’s got a lot going on.

After the Pitt discussion, it was time for Kelly to play Plead the Fifth. The first question Andy Cohen asked was about Demi Lovato’s comments on Taylor Swift.

“Demi Lovato made waves this week when she said that a song and video about tearing Katy Perry down is not women’s empowerment, what do you make of the Taylor Swift squad phenomenon and do you think Demi Lovato was right?”

Kelly’s reaction to this question was pure shock because she literally had no idea what Andy was talking about.

“WHOA. I am officially old. What?”
