Serving as a co-host on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” actor Kevin Hart was pretty much up for anything. But no, he wasn’t ready to greet an ostrich.
“I’m starting off with something very cute and cuddly,” explained Robert Irvin, the 14-year-old son of the late Steve Irwin, also known as “The Crocodile Hunter.” Fans will recall that Steve died in 2006 from a stingray injury.
“You can kiss my ass,” exclaimed Hart as he jumped to get out of the way from the 2-month old ostrich. “You know what she’s saying? ‘I want some little black man.’ That’s what she’s saying.”
And then, as Hart still looked scared, two snakes arrived.
“No, stay Kevin, no. We’re in this together man,” Fallon said as Hart acted like they were going to run away. “Kevin, you have to just get over your fears, and you have to hold the snake.”
“It ain’t gonna happen,” Hart answered.
Irwin was also on the show to confirm that his family will soon be back on television as they will return to Animal Planet for the new show “Crikey! It’s The Irwins.” The show is set to premiere on Oct. 28 and will follow the family as they take care of animals at the Australia Zoo.
