If you’re not tired of all the reboots and revivals of shows from your childhood, then you’re ready the reboot of Veronica Mars. After the show’s star, Kristen Bell, confirmed that Hulu picked up the new episodes, the network is now revealing the premiere date of the series with a fun new teaser.

“Spring breakers are getting murdered in Neptune, thereby decimating the seaside town’s lifeblood tourist industry,” the reboot synopsis revealed “After Mars Investigations is hired by the parents of one of the victims to find their son’s killer, Veronica is drawn into an epic eight-episode mystery that pits the enclave’s wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast’s answer to Daytona Beach.”

In the video, Kristen is back at it at Mars Investigations. The video shows Veronica sitting at her desk getting prepared for what spring break in Neptune has to offer.

“Spring break in Neptune,” she says in voiceover. “That means drunks, derelicts, flashers, frat boys, sorority vomit, pickpockets, bottomless drinks and topless dancers, street scum and beac bums and that’s just the walk to my car.”

But in true Veronica fashion, she continues, “Fortunately, I’m good to go,” as she holds up a working taser, ready for action. Veronica is ready to take on the spring breakers and fans of the show are ready for some serious investigations.

“I don’t think she changed a ton, but the world around her has changed,” Kristen told E! News of her character. “It’s different when she’s an adult. The world is bigger and sort of darker and dirtier but she still has her moral compass and her sass and her wit. It’s still very much a show about the haves and the have nots and Veronica fighting for the underdogs. It made me so happy to do it again.”

All 8 episodes of Veronica Mars will air on Hulu on July 26.
