Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper Slay During Duet of “Shallow” at the Oscars

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper astonished an A-list crowed Sunday night (Feb. 24) when they performed “Shallow” from their co-starring movie, A Star is Born, during the Oscar Awards  live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles

The duo entered the spotlight  holding  hands as they walked up the stairs to the stage. Bradley kicked off the song singing, “Tell me somethin’, girl
Are you happy in this modern world? / Or do you need more? / Is there somethin’ else you’re searchin’ for?.”

As Bradley sang, Gaga stood face to face with Bradley staring deep into his eyes—Further adding to the speculation of a connection between the actor and singer. As Gaga’s verse came up, she sat down at the piano and began to  play, while belting out her part, stunning the crowd with her vocals.

This wasn’t the first time the duo took the stage together. Bradley joined his co-star one other time . During a recent show in Las Vegas, Gaga surprised fans with a duet when she invited Bradley on stage for a performance. However, the Oscars marks the first time the duo performed the song together live on television.

Following the performance, Gaga took home the Oscar for Best Original Song along with Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando, and Andrew Wyatt. Aside from the musical achievement, A Star is Born was also nominated for Best Picture, Best Actor (Bradley Cooper), Best Actress (Lady Gaga), Best Supporting Actor (Sam Elliott), Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography and Best Sound Mixing.
