As actress Lori Loughlin continues to pay the price for her involvement in the college bribery scandal, news is flying as to how bad she wanted her daughters to the University of South California.

“Lori is used to getting what she wants,” a family source tells People magazine about the Full House star’s intentions before her world began falling down. “This is why she got in trouble in the first place. She got fixated on getting her girls into USC. For her, there was no other way. They needed to be at USC. It was very important for her to be able to say that her girls were at USC.”

There is a chance that this fixation will now land Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli in jail. The pair has yet to enter a plea in their case.

“It was absolutely a status thing,” the source goes on to say. “And the fact that she wanted the girls to have things that she never had growing up. Lori always had a very special relationship with both daughters. She is a great mom and very involved.”

Perhaps she could have found another way to show her love towards her girls?

Just a thought.
