Many people were affected by the recent college admissions scandal that found actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud. Felicity was released on $250,000 bond, while Lori and her husband were released on $1 million bond
Lori and her husband Mossimo Giannulli were arrested for paying $500,000 to have their 2 daughters admitted to the crew team at USC. As a result, the actress, best known for her role as Aunt Becky on Full House, had lost her deal with the Hallmark franchise and will not appear on the fifth and final season of Netflix’s Reboot, Fuller House.
Lori’s co-stars on the Fuller House, Bob Saget (Danny Tanner) and John Stamos (Uncle Jesse) have remained quiet on the news. Recently, TMZ caught up with the two friends leaving Avra restaurant in Beverly Hills and they tossed out a few questions. The guys responses were hesitant.
When Bob was asked if he was still in Lori’s corner and backing her, he had this to say.
“I usually don’t do interviews on the street, but you love who you love in your life,” he said. “I’m being honest. I’m gonna stop talking. I love who I love, Candace said it really good at the Kids Choice Awards, you love who you love. I’m on the team with people that I love but life’s complicated. I don’t like talking about it.”
Candace shared some words at the Kids Choice Awards when the cast won favorite funny TV show.
“And a loving family sticks together no matter what,” she said. “They support each other, they encourage one another, they pray for each other and they stand by their side no matter how tough it gets. And a loving family that sticks together, also celebrates the really good times together.”
When TMZ caught up with John in his car, he had much less to say. Asked if he was still on Lori’s side after the fiasco, John didn’t reply. He was then asked if he had a point of view on that and he responded by saying, “I will at some point, I’m just not ready to talk about it.”
In due time.
