Marie Osmond is using social media for good. The “A Little Bit Country, A Little Bit Rock N’ Roll” singer, is asking for prayers for her newborn granddaughter who is in ICU since being born on Thursday, May 23.

“Asking for prayers for my precious granddaughter born this evening 6lbs 10 ounces,” Marie wrote to her fans. “So thankful she was able to be taken to children’s ICU in one of our amazing @CMNHospitals #gratitude that she is in their care!”

Needless to say,  fans were there for Marie, sending much love and prayers to the 59-year-old entertainer.

“My prayers are with you precious granddaughter and family. God bless and place his healing hands upon your precious Granddaughter and may she be well soon,” @eiwaldinger wrote in the comments.

“God bless ur precious sweet lil Angel. God will take care of her, so do not worry! Trust in our Lord, Jesus Christ! Amen!,” added @MariaFloresMar9 added.

Marie has a close relationship with her fans on social media. She reaches out when in need of prayer. Back in September Marie asked fans to pray for her brother Alan, who had challenging back surgery and then again in July when her brother Tom had undergone quadruple bypass heart surgery.

Marie has yet to reveal the reason her baby granddaughter was taken to ICU but we send prayers in hopes of a speedy recovery for the precious newborn. Marie’s daughter Brianna and husband Dave announced that they were expecting a baby in March. The couple wed in December 2018.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Marie Osmond and her family at this time.
