Fox’s The Masked Singer took the country by storm when season1 premiered on January 2, hosted by Nick Cannon, with such characters as the Monster, the Peacock, the Pineapple and the Lion.
Now, the second season has promised changes and new characters. In a preview for the upcoming season, Fox is revealing new masks and A-list stars.
“I heard that because the first season was so successful that so many what they call A-list celebrities have clamored to be a part of season two,” judge Jenny McCarthy says of the new season
“I hear the costumes are even more elaborate. I hear last season we had 12 performers [and] I hear we got 16 now. And I hear there’s, like, an egg [costume],” Nick Cannon revealed about season 2.
That’s right, there is an egg. The preview also reveals that there will be a skeleton, an eagle, a cheetah, a fox and a flamingo.
While season 2 promises bigger star, season 1 had it share of celebs. The judges consisted of Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger. The cast included Gladys Knight (Bee), Donny Osmond (Peacock), Joey Fatone (Rabbit), Tommy Chong (Pineapple), Rumer Willis (Lion), Terry Bradshaw (Deer), Margaret Cho (Poodle), Antonio Brown (Hippo), LaToya Jackson (Alien), Ricki Lake (Raven), Tori Spelling (Unicorn) and winner T-Pain (Monster).
Season 2 of The Masked Singer will kick off September 25 on Fox.
