[Watch] Beyonce’s Mom and Michelle Obama Dance During Jay-Z’s Set at Paris On Run II Tour Stop

Former first lady Michelle Obama was in attendance during Beyonce and Jay-Z’s On the Run II Tour stop in Paris, France, over the weekend. On Sunday (July 15), Michelle was spotted at the concert with Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles Lawson, who danced along to Jay’s “On to the Next One” from the front row.

Mid-song the rapper walked down the catwalk and noticed the two women standing front row and gave a wave in their direction. All smiles, Michelle and Tina danced along to the 2009 hit.

The women surprised concertgoers earlier in the evening when they walked through the audience into their VIP spot by the stage. As Beyonce and Jay-Z sang “Drunk in Love,” fans could be heard screaming once they realized that Michelle and Tina were in attendance and heading to their seats.

This is far from Michelle’s introduction to Beyonce and Jay-Z. In fact, Beyoncé performed at Barack Obama’s inauguration ball in 2009. She later sang the national anthem at his inauguration in 2013.

Earlier this year, Michelle served as a special speaker when Beyonce accepted her award for humanitarianism at the second annual Wearable Art Gala.

“I love you. I am inspired by you,” Michelle said ahead of Beyonce accepting her award. “I’m so honored and proud of everything that you have achieved and everything that you have contributed to our country and our world.”

Beyonce and Jay-Z’s On the Run II Tour heads to the U.S. on July 25 in Cleveland, Ohio, and runs through October.
