After news broke that the North American leg of the Rolling Stones upcoming No Filter Tour would need to be postponed, fans learned that it was due to Mick Jagger’s health concerns.

“I really hate letting you down like this,” Mick wrote in Twitter at the time. “I’m devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on stage as soon as I can. Once again, huge apologies to everyone.”

It was later revealed that Jagger’s specific health troubles had to do with his heart. The legendary singer had to undergo surgery to replace a valve in his heart. In fact it was a transcatheter aortic valve replacement, which is a minimally invasive procedure.

As reports came in that Mick was resting comfortably, the singer took to social media to share a video of himself back in rehearsal mode and looking like his old self.

In his first interview since the surgery Mick is speaking out to radio station Q107.

“I’m feeling pretty good,” he tells the Toronto station. “Been rehearsing a lot lately in the last few weeks … This morning [I did] a bit of gym. Nothing crazy. Then I go into rehearsal with the rest of the band.”
