Miley Cyrus and her husband Liam Hemsworth are celebrating their 10th anniversary of the year they met and, as if we had any doubt, Miley is doing it her way.
In a post on her Instagram story, Miley shared a screen shot of a headline that reads, “Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth Split Rumors.” Miley had a little bit to say about that.

“Happy 10 year anniversary my love, “she wrote over the headline. “Good to see everyone is as dumb as they were in 2009! Some things never change….& I home the way you feel about me is one of them. Yours truly.”
She followed that post up with a throwback photo from 2009, of her and Liam kissing in the water where they met on set of Nicholas Sparks’ The Last Song film. In addition, she added one more photo from the flick, with a deep caption.
“Started diggin you in 2009. S*** got deep. Happy anniversary,” she wrote next to a diamond ring emoji.
While Miley and Liam met on the set of The Last Song in 2009, their 10 year relationship had it’s ups and downs. The couple was first engaged in 2012, but broke up in 2013. They rekindled their relationship in 2016 and became engaged again. On December 23, the couple finally tied the knot in a private ceremony at their home in Nashville.
Miley took to Instagram a day after Christmas to share the good news of her nuptials. With slew of black and white wedding photos, showing the couple embraced in a kiss, Miley made it official.
“This is probably our one – millionth kiss ….,” she captioned the kissing photo. She followed that up with black and white photos of the couple hugging, along with the date of their wedding—”12.23.18.”
Happy anniversary to the happy couple.
