The First Official “Avengers Endgame” Trailer is Here and We Want More [Watch]

-

Hold on to your hats Avengers fans, the first trailer for the fourth installment of the Avengers series, “Avengers Endgame,” was released by Marvel on Friday (Dec. 7) and we can’t wait for what’s to come.

In the trailer, Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr., is still adrift in space floating in a non-working spacecraft, believing he won’t make it home. He leaves a recording for Ms. Potts telling her, “If you find this recording, don’t feel bad about this. Part of the journey is the end.”

But is it really the end?

In the previous movie, “Avengers Infinity War,” the powerful villain, Thanos was successful in eliminating half the population, turning them to dust, leaving us wondering what is to become of the Avengers.

“We lost all of us. We lost friends. We lost family. We lost a part of ourselves. This is the fight of our lives,” Captain America, played by Chris Evans, says in a voiceover.

“This is going to work Steve,” Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johanson, assures us.

“I know it is, because I don’t know what I’m going to do if it doesn’t,” Captain America responds.

Uh-Oh!

And just when you thought the trailer was over. AntMan, played by Paul Rudd, shows up at the front door asking to be buzzed in. How did he get there?

Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye returns, but the trailer doesn’t reveal in what capacity. But we’re glad he’s back to help. With some of the Avengers turned to dust, they’re going to need it.

Not many questions are answered but the mere fact that the trailer is here means we’re closer to release date and that’s good news.  “Avengers: Endgame” is expected to hit theaters in April.
