Mollie Fitzgerald was a director and a producer and even the actress who played the role of “Stark Girl” in the movie Captain America: The First Avenger. But now, she just might forever be known as a murderer.

According to The Kansas City Star, Mollie is currently charged with second degree murder in the killing of her own mother. According to reports, Fitzgerald allegedly stabbed her mother, 68-year-old Patricia “Tee” Fitzgerald, on Dec. 20 in her own home.

According to the post, Police responded to the home for an armed disturbance. Upon their arrival they found Patricia with an apparent stab wound, she was pronounced dead on the scene.

Mollie is currently in jail on a $500,000 bond.

“We were shocked,” Mollie’s uncle Gary Hunziker told the newspaper about the death of his sister. “It doesn’t matter the circumstances. The loss of a sister is what it’s all about.”

According to Patricia’s obituary, her funeral service will be held Friday, January 3rd at Divine Mercy Parish, Gardner Kansas. The 68-year-old is survived by her husband Terry Fitzgerald and brothers Gary Hunziker & Terry L Hunziker of Kahoka MO and Sister Nancy Ward of Las Vegas NV.

Throughout her career, Mollie had been seen in a number of other movies, including 2014’s The Lawful Truth and 2017’s The Creeps.
