Nicole Kidman Says Her Daughters Will Make Appearance in “Big Little Lies”

-

Nicole Kidman wrapped filming season 2 of “Big Little Lies” and during a recent appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” the actress tried her best not to give too much of the plot away. Lucky for fans of the series, Ellen is quite the interviewer and was able to get some information on the returning HBO show out of Nicole.

While Nicole is over the moon about Meryl Streep signing on to play Mary Louise Wright, the mother of Alexander Skarsgard’s character Perry Wright, she isn’t the only new face on the series. As it turns out, Nicole and Keith Urban’s daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, will also make an appearance.

“They were in as extras in ‘Big Little Lies’ which I never told anyone,” Nicole confesses to Ellen.

Nicole also raved about Meryl joining the cast of season 2. She will play the role of Nicole’s mother-in-law during the upcoming season of “Big Little Lies.”

“We got lucky. She signed on without having read any script which is a big support of us as a group of women,” Nicole marvels. “She’s definitely in it now. She plays Perry’s mother, who comes back. That’s how the show begins. [She] comes to live with me. A mother-in-law living with you.”

“That would explain a lot of things,” Ellen pries.

“It will be unraveled. You’ll see. No more. I can’t tell you no more! I think I’ve already said too much is my problem,” Nicole admits.

Ellen tries to get a little more information, asking if the mother-in-law is evil.

“No more, Ellen!” Nicole exclaims.

While no official air date has been revealed for Season 2 of “Big Little Lies,” new episodes are expected to arrive in 2019.
