Somewhere between the wings and the dip and the drink of your choice, there was the Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams. But more importantly, there were a slew of commercials that viewers couldn’t seem to get enough of Sunday night (Feb. 3.) One of those commercials was for the upcoming movie Toy Story 4.
In the new teaser for the much-loved series of movies, the character of Bo Peep is back for the first time in twenty years.
“Bo’s taken control of her own destiny,” Toy Story 4 director Josh Cooley said in a recent press release about the movie’s storyline. “While Woody was watching Andy grow up, Bo gathered dust until she took it upon herself to head out into the world. And when Woody shows up, they can’t believe that they’ve found each other again.”
The teaser also seemed to hint that some of the new characters that pop up in the movie are going to have a bit of an issue with the main character Buzz Lightyear, who is voiced by actor Tim Allen.
Toy Story 4 is set to be released on June 21, 2019.
