In a world where there seems to be so much controversy around the national anthem, it was quite refreshing to watch the kids of NASCAR come together to sing together in sweet harmony.
The performance took place on Sunday (Aug. 19) at Bristol Motor Speedway, with many recognizable faces in the crowd of young children singing their hearts out before the green flag waved. What made the performance that much more adorable was watching the drivers bask in the sweet moment, with drivers such as Jimmie Johnson and Brad Keslowski all kneeling down in front of the group taking video of the performance.

In recent years, the kids of NASCAR have increasingly become a precious part of the story, with many children making appearances with their famous dads either at driver introductions, victory lane and even in the cockpit of the car for a victory lap.
“It’s pretty cool to look over there on your victory lap and see your 6-year-old in the passenger seat and being able to enjoy it with you,” NASCAR driver Kevin Harvick says in a recent interview about letting his son Keelan ride in the passenger seat after his dad’s win at Michigan International Speedway. “That definitely was way up there on the bucket list of things you didn’t expect. That was pretty neat.”
