Just weeks before his wife is due to have a baby, Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter finds himself in the fight of his life with his very own brother Aaron Carter.

In fact, things have gotten so bad that Nick has now filed a restraining order against Aaron after he threatened his pregnant wife and the couple’s unborn child.

“After careful consideration, my sister Angel and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today,” Nick wrote on his Twitter page on Tuesday (Sept. 17.)

He went on to add that ‘we were left with no choice, but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family.”

The “I Want Candy” singer has been on a Twitter spree of sorts since the restraining order was filed, spewing a whole lot of hatred and accusations against his brother.

“Take care Nick Carter, we’re done for life,” Aaron continued. “I haven’t seen him in four years. And I don’t intend to. All I ask is for my family to leave me alone. This is blood. Not love. I will never be around you and I don’t want to be around you. I am the one who said I’m done then you send me this?! Ok. Stop trying to be 5150’d before I file a harassment suit myself nick I have the $.”

On Tuesday night (Sept. 17,) Aaron went so far as to even accuse Nick of being violent against several women.

And then, in the early morning hours of Wednesday (Sept. 18,) Aaron had some parting words for his brother.

“Restraining order says stay 100 feet away,” Aaron wrote.  “It’s been thousands of miles for years Using the court system to shake me down Worked on some girls but won’t work on me Good night all.”

The troubles within the Carter family has actually been going on for many, many years. Fans will recall that Aaron and Nick’s sister Leslie died of an overdose in 2012. Aaron has also had his share of issues, recalling just last week on The Doctors that both him and his mom have had a long history of addiction and drug use, along with various mental issues.
