“I am in disbelief and hurting everywhere. My heart is broken as I cannot imagine our lives without him. Nick was such a bright light. He was everyone’s friend, loved to listen, help and especially talk. He was an incredible actor and musician. He loved his family and loved being a father and husband. Elvis and I will miss him in everything we do, everyday.

She went on to thank the doctor’s who cared for Nick during his stay at the hospital before thanking friends, family and strangers who prayed with her and for Nick.

“I cannot begin to thank everyone enough for the outpour of love , support and help we’ve received these last 95 days. You have no idea how much you lifted my spirits at 3pm everyday as the world sang Nicks song, Live Your Life. We sang it to him today, holding his hands,” she continued.”As I sang the last line to him, “they’ll give you hell but don’t you [let] them kill your light not without a fight. Live your life,” I smiled because he definitely put up a fight. I will love you forever and always my sweet man. ❤️”

God has another angel in heaven now. My darling husband passed away this morning. He was surrounded in love by his family, singing and praying as he gently left this earth. ⠀ I am in disbelief and hurting everywhere. ⠀ To Nicks extraordinary doctor, Dr. David Ng, you were my positive doctor! There are not many doctors like you. Kind, smart, compassionate, assertive and always eager to listen to my crazy ideas or call yet another doctor for me for a second opinion. You’re a diamond in the rough. ⠀ ⠀ I cannot begin to thank everyone enough for the outpour of love , support and help we’ve received these last 95 days. You have no idea how much you lifted my spirits at 3pm everyday as the world sang Nicks song, Live Your Life. We sang it to him today, holding his hands. As I sang the last line to him, “they’ll give you hell but don’t you light them kill your light not without a fight. Live your life,” I smiled because he definitely put up a fight. I will love you forever and always my sweet man. ❤️

Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt, who did not know Nick but was touched by fight and Amanda’s strength also shared her grief for the loss of Nick.

“Tonight my heart is breaking. Nick Cordero a loved son, artist, friend, husband and father has joined the angels,” Jennifer wrote. “I have watched with so many as his wife and son and family have been brave, positive and strong as he fought for his life. @amandakloots put together an army of people to pray for him and dance to his music. And in doing so everyday somehow she taught us all how to be brave and positive in this time. It’s not fair that she and baby Elvis will have to live without him. And it’s not fair that he will now only shine his light on them from above. Please donate to the go fund me page if you can and if you can’t please join me and all who prayed for Nick. Let’s tomm at 3pm dance and pray for Amanda and Elvis. Please join us in helping this family find strength and healing. Surround them with love and prayers. @amandakloots you are my hero. Wrapping you in my love❤️#ripnickcordero”
