YouTube star Olivia Jade Giannulli seemingly had it all. To millions of her social media followers, she had the perfect complexion and the perfect life and the perfect set-up as a student at the University of Southern California.

And then, she didn’t.

Giannulli’s parents Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli currently find themselves smack in the middle of the college bribery scandal and are currently being accused of paying bribes to get their children into prestigious schools.

And Olivia Jade ain’t happy.

“Olivia is devastated and completely embarrassed,” a family source tells CNN in a recent interview. “She feels like she’s lost nearly all of her friends because of this. She’s barely speaking to her parents.”

Since news of the allegations broke, Olivia’s social media presence has taken a nose dive. In fact, she has already lost a number of high profile social media partnerships, including Sephora, due to the scandal.

“Her best friends are doing everything they can, but she doesn’t even want to see anyone right now,” the source says. “Olivia has been staying off social media because she’s gotten so much hate.”

According to another source, Loughlin herself is still reeling over the allegations.

“It’s just taking some time for it to sink in that what she was allegedly doing could be considered illegal,” a source tells People magazine. “To her, it wasn’t egregious behavior. Was it entitled and perhaps selfish? Perhaps. But she didn’t see it as being a legal violation. From the beginning, she didn’t want to take a deal, because she felt that she hadn’t done anything that any mom wouldn’t have done, if they had the means to do so. So this wasn’t her being obstinate; this was her truly not understanding the seriousness of the allegations.”
