It’s not awards season unless there is a tweet from a troll that gets slammed for it’s insensitivity and cruelty. And this season was no different. When Bong Joon Ho won the Oscar for best original screenplay (Parasite), some of the comments were not so friendly.

One such comment came from Blaze TV host Jon Miller, who had something to say about the win.

A man named Bong Joon Ho wins #Oscar for best original screenplay over Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and 1917,” he wrote.  “Acceptance speech was: “GREAT HONOR. THANK YOU.” Then he proceeds to give the rest of his speech in Korean. These people are the destruction of America.”

Well, TV personality Piers Morgan wasn’t having it. The media mogul didn’t mince words when he responded by saying “You disgusting racist Pr*ck.”  Let’s remember, Piers isn’t the most PC guy himself. Seemingly finding himself in hot water for saying the wrong thing.

However, the Good Morning Britain talk show host wasn’t the only one to call out the Tweet. Chrissy Teigen, model and wife of John Legend, also took to Twitter and shared the Tweet with her 12.3 million followers.

“What a dumb F****** tool you are, your family is embarrassed,” she wrote. “At gatherings they’re literally like “how’s Jon doing that little dumb f*** tool” and everyone goes “yeah we don’t care he’s a f****** dumb s***”— come say hi if you’re out tonight.”

In the end, Bong Joon Ho came out on top. Not only did the South Korean win the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, his film also took home the award for Best Foreign Language Film, Best Film Editing, Best Production Design, Best Director and they made history by becoming the first foreign film to win the Best Picture category in the Oscars’ 92 year history.

Congratulations to Bong and the cast of Parasite.
