When Pink brought her Beautiful Trauma Tour to the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the Pennsylvania native surprised her fans by inviting Gwen Stefani to join her on stage.
The two friends got the crowd into a frenzy when they performed No Doubt’s—Gwen’s former band—1995 hit, “Just a Girl.”
This wasn’t the first time Gwen and Pink took the stage together, the two ladies joined forces at the 2012 iHeart Awards to perform the same song..
Following their recent performance, as Gwen had exited the stage Pink said of her friend, “Oh, it does’t get better than that. I love you Gwen.”
And the feeling was mutual as Gwen took to Instagram to thank pink and share her recipricol love for the “What About Us” singer.
“Ummmm so this happened!! -thank u @pink for having me – so much #respect coming your way 😘 #justagirl gx,” Gwen wrote.
“Y’all don’t even understand how much love I have for this chick, this rocker, this mama, this entrepreneur, this total OG badass that is @gwenstefani there really aren’t any comparisons as far as I’m concerned. Tonight was fun. Thanks friend @gwenstefani, Pink wrote.”
P!nk’s right, it doesn’t get better than that. Girl power at its finest.
Pink’s Beautiful Trauma tour wrapped it’s U.S. leg on Friday at the Forum in Inglewood California and will continue overseas in Australia and New Zealand. However, the pop star recently announced that she will be extending her tour for a third leg into 2019. The third leg kicks off on March 1, 2019 in Sunrise, Florida.
