Jimmy Carter is in the hospital...again.

“Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter was admitted to Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Ga., this past weekend for treatment for a urinary tract infection,” the Carter Center tweeted out on Monday (Dec. 2.) “He is feeling better and looks forward to returning home soon.”

It’s been quite a rough year in the health department for Carter, who was most recently hospitalized following surgery to treat bleeding on his brain following a number of falls that had him not only fracturing his pelvis but breaking his hip.

Carter is the nation’s oldest living ex-president at the age of 95.

But if history repeats itself, chances are that Carter will once again bounce back from this latest health hurdle with flying colors. Shortly after a hospitalization this fall, Carter was back at it in Nashville volunteering alongside Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks for Habitat for Humanity. In addition, Carter has long been known to teach Sunday School at his hometown church, no matter what health ailments he’s dealing with.

Heck, he even beat cancer back in 2015 after what seemed to be quite a dire diagnosis.

We’re sending some mighty get well wishes to the former President!
