Rosie O’Donnell has been feeling bad for the countless people in the entertainment industry that are out of work right now due to the ongoing spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

So, she decided to do something about it.

O’Donnell reprised her much loved talk show on YouTube and Broadway.com on Sunday night (March 22,) and once again, it brought the smiles to a nation that could use a laugh right about now.

Joining her on the sole, three-hour episode of The Rosie O’Donnell Show was a slew of celebrities including Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Gloria Estefan, Sarah Jessica Parker, Barry Manilow and Kristin Chenoweth. There were songs and there were interviews and there were jokes…many, many jokes.

And yes, jokes can in fact make you feel better.

The show was created not only to bring some smiles to a rather dark world right now, but to help raise money for  all those in the entertainment industry who are currently out of work due to the coronavirus outbreak.

And before the night was over, over a half million dollars was raised for The Actors Fund. O’Donnell headed to her Twitter page on Sunday (March 23) to make the announcement and to thank everyone involved in the show.

And that’s how we are going to get through this everyone. We are going to do it together!
