Former The Talk co-host Sara Gilbert broke sad news over the holiday break, filing papers in California to separate from wife Linda Perry.

Heck, she’s already even taken off her wedding ring.

According to People magazine, the former Roseanne star filed papers for a legal separation on Friday (Dec. 27,) and the very next day was spotted without her wedding ring as she walked around in Los Angeles. However, the paperwork allegedly lists August 13 as the official day of their separation, citing irreconcilable differences.

As sad as the separation is, so to is the fact that the two share a 4-year-old son together. Gilbert also has two kids of her own from a previous relationship.

Perry, a music legend who has fronted the band 4 Non Blondes and worked with the likes of Christina Aguilera, Pink and Gwen Stefani, married Gilbert in 2014 after three years of dating. They got engaged in April of 2013

The Conners star has been quiet on social media regarding the whole situation, with her last message on Twitter being listed as December 10. In that message, she shared a holiday wish to her fans alongside a pic of her with her fellow cast members of The Conners.

We send our well wishes to this special couple, and hope they find their own personal happiness in the year ahead.
