Simon Cowell Fails Miserably During “Burning Questions” on Ellen

Through the years, Simon Cowell has formed bands and headed up companies. He has starred on television shows and has become a successful entrepreneur. Heck, Time magazine named him one of the most influential people in the world – twice.

But one thing he can’t do is play Ellen DeGeneres’ game “Burning Questions.”

During the game that is often featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, guests answer thought-provoking questions and then hit a big red button right in front of them. But during a recent episode of the much-loved talk show, Cowell just couldn’t get it straight.

“So let me just get this right,” he said. “I give the answer, then I [press the buzzer]?”

“Yeah,” Ellen replied. “It’s very, very important.”

“This is so embarrassing,” Cowell said.

But while Cowell was having trouble understanding the game, he was able to rattle off some quick answers to some pretty thought-provoking questions, including the sexiest member of One Direction to the three words he would use to describe himself to if he was a member of the mile-high club.

“It wasn’t quite a mile,” Simon replied. “On the way up.”

On second thought, maybe that’s more information than we needed to know.
