Olympian Simone Biles is going through the unthinkable at the moment as she emotionally deals with her brother’s recent triple-homicide arrest.

“My heart aches for everyone involved, especially for the victims and their families,” the famous gymnast wrote on her Twitter page just days after her brother, Tevin Biles-Thomas, was taken into custody for the murders. “There is nothing that I can say that will heal anyone’s pain, but I do want to express my sincere condolences to everyone affected by this terrible tragedy. I ask everyone to please respect my family’s privacy as we deal with our pain. XO.”

The murders actually occurred at a New Year’s Eve party back in 2018. Biles-Thomas is accused of murdering three men at that party, formerly charged with murder, voluntary manslaughter, felonious assault and perjury, according to NBC. Biles-Thomas is being held at Liberty County Jail in Hinesville, Georgia and will be arraigned later this month.

Until then, it looks as if Biles has chosen to surround herself with the love and support of her friends, many of which often show up on her Instagram feed.

“Thanks for being my unpaid therapist,” Biles wrote on Tuesday (September 3) alongside a pic of her and a friend poolside.
