In fact, the star of the movie, Tom Holland, gives a warning before the trailer.

“The ‘Spider-Man Far From Home trailer is about to play, but if you haven’t seen ‘Avengers: Endgame’ yet stop watching because there’s some serious spoilers about to come up. But if you have seen ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ enjoy the trailer.”

Warning –  don’t read on because like Tom said, SPOILER AHEAD.

In the beginning of new Spider-Man trailer, Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, is saddened by the loss of Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), who sacrificed himself to kill Thanos in Avengers: Endgame. Peter decides to take a European vacation with friends to get away from the crime-fighting lifestyle. That means ignoring a call from Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson), which you just don’t do.

“I don’t really want to talk to Nick Fury,” Peter says in the trailer.

Of course, Nick catches up with Peter and introduces him to Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal), who hails from an alternate universe.

“Are you saying there’s a multi-verse,” Spider-Man asks. Looks like it kid.

Could Mysterio’s appearance have something to do with the Avengers’ time-traveling escapade in Endgame that brings him to the present? We think so.

Peter is at first a bit reluctant to help our Mysterio, asking why Thor and Captain Marvel can’t help out. Turns out, the two of them are busy. It’s up to the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man to help save the world this time.

The new film also stars  Zendaya, Jake Gyllenhaal and Marisa Tomei. Spider-Man: Far From Home will hit theaters on July 2.
