Orange is the New Black star, Taylor Schilling, has taken to Instagram to confirm the news of her relationship with visual artist Emily Ritz.
In her Instagram story, Taylor re-posted an image of the couple embracing on a mountain, in support of Pride. The post, originally shared by Emily, reads, “I couldn’t be more proud to be by your side @tayjschilling. Happy Pride,”surrounded by hearts and a rainbow emoji.
According to Just Jared, the couple reportedly met through mutual friends began a romantic relationship late last year.
The 35-year-old, best known for her role as Piper Chapman on the hit Netflix series Orange is the New Black, confirmed the news with the post on Instagram. Orange Is The New Black came to an end in 2019 with season 7 being it’s last.. Schilling’s character fell in love with cellmate Alex Vause, played by Laura Prepon, with their relationship continuing on and off throughout the series.

Schilling has been very private about her personal life, only to tell the Evening Standard magazine in 2017, “I’ve had very serious relationships with lots of people, and I’m a very expansive human. There’s no part of me that can be put under a label. I really don’t fit into a box — that’s too reductive. I’ve had wonderful relationships. I’ve had a lot of love, and I don’t have any qualms about where it comes from.”
