The seemingly constant drama that seems to follow Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans continued on Wednesday (May 1) when news began swirling that her husband David Eason had shot and killed their pet dog.

“Nugget… I’m crying everyday,” Evans wrote on her Instagram page alongside a pic of her and her French Bulldog named Nugget. “I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless. You were my side kick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me. You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons. Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here, when I go to bed… you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back.”

Specifics as to what exactly happened remain quite murky at the moment. According to the Columbus County Sheriff’s department and reported on by People magazine, Evan’s ex Nathan Griffith first called the police on Tuesday (April 30) requesting a wellness check on his son Kaiser that he shares with Evans.

On the same day, Eason posted a video of the dog seemingly snapping at their daughter Ensley, a video that was then shared on TMZ.

“I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face,” wrote Eason, who married Evans in September of 2017. “Whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I don’t put up with that s— at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my life’s mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isn’t the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge whether or not an animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”

TMZ is now reporting that Eason is currently cleared of any wrongdoing unless Evans reports the incident officially to police.

Stay tuned.
