Many Teen Mom 2 fans have been waiting for Jenelle Evans to leave her husband David Eason after he shot and killed the family dog. That time has finally come.
Jenelle took to Instagram to explain to fans that she and her children have left their home.
“I’ve mostly kept off social media the past few days because I’ve been focused on making some big life decisions. I’ve lived my life on camera since I was 17 years old. And alot of it hasn’t been pretty. But its been my life.”
She continued, “Like anyone else I want what’s best for my kids and I want to be happy. With time away from Teen Mom I’ve started to look at my life differently and I know I need to make changes. I’m starting that now.”
Jenelle and her husband have been through a lot this past year. First her husband David Eason, shot and killed her dog after it snapped as his young daughter, then Jenelle was fired from Teen Mom 2 by MTV and most recently, her children were removed from her house and she lost custody of her three kids, because of her husband’s erratic behavior. The couple then regained custody of their daughter and Jenelle’s son after many court appearances.
But all of that may have been too much on the young couple.
“The kids and I have moved away from David,” Jenelle revealed in the post. “Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know thats what is best fro me, and for my kids. Today I’ve filed papers to start that process.”
She goes on to thank everyone for their support and give an update on the family.

“I appreciated the support from everybody who asked how I am,” she concluded. “Me and the kids are doing great. We need some time to be together. But you’ll hear from us again soon.”
True to form, David had something to say about his soon to be ex-wife. He recently posted a photo of his kids over the weekend, to which one follower commented, “So glad Jenelle got smart.” David’s response? “Nope, shes still stupid.”
