Teen Mom star Amber Portwood has found herself in trouble with the law once again. The mom of two was arrested for domestic battery in her home state of Indiana.
According to TMZ, Amber was arrested on Friday (July 6) just before 6am. As is the regular procedure, the victim’s name was not released. However, TMZ has reported that Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department revealed to them that Amber’s boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, was the recipient of her violence.
Andrew states that he was assaulted by Amber while he was holding their 1-year-old child. Amber also shares a 10-year-old daughter, Leah, with ex-boyfriend, Gary Shirley. Police revealed that they have called child protective services.
This isn’t Amber’s first run in with the law. The 29-year-old was arrested in 2010 and charged with felony domestic battery after allegedly choking her ex Gary. In 2011, Amber was arrested for violating terms of her probation. In 2012, the Teen Mom star was again arrested and sentenced to five years in jail for prescription drug possession and violating probation. She was given the choice to go to jail or rehab and Amber picked jail, where she spent 17 months behind bars.
A hearing has been set for next week.
