After revealing that she suffered a miscarriage in April, Today show meteorologist Dylan Dreyer is sharing some happier news.

Tuesday morning (July 16), Dylan took a moment on the news program to share that she is expecting her second  baby following the miscarriage and while going through the IVF process.  She shared a video of her son, Calvin (3), revealing the sonogram and shocking her co-hosts.

“I’m pregnant,” Dylan revealed after the video ended as her co-hosts cheered.

We are so happy for you Dylan. This is awesome,” Savannah Guthrie exclaimed.

“It’s been an emotional journey,” Dreyer said. “You know, I opened up about my infertility and my secondary infertility and just surgeries I’ve had to have, and the day I was going to start my IVF — I had all my medicines, I brought it to the Kentucky Derby with me — the doctor calls and says, ‘Don’t take anything, you’re pregnant.'”

She continued, “I just want to thank everyone for the prayers because I swear the prayers and just putting my story out there, got me to where I am.”

However, fans had to wait until the third hour of the show to find out the sex of their bundle of joy. Again, little Calvin was the one to deliver the news. Driving around in a blue car and decked out in blue, the little guy revealed that Dreyer’s second child will be another boy. The new addition is due in January.

Dryer has been open with her story of IVF and miscarriage to help others who are going through the same issues.

“I am blessed with the family that I have,” Dreyer said after suffering the miscarriage. “But going through a miscarriage and not knowing what the future holds is emotional. I just want people to know that I’m going through it too.”

Congratulations to the happy family.
