After Todd Chrisley’s son, Kyle Chrisley, was arrested for drug possession earlier this year, he faced some serious felony charges that have recently been dropped.
Kyle, who starred in only one season of the family reality series Chrisley Knows Best, was arrested in Oklahoma and booked for felony possession of methamphetamine after being pulled over for a broken headlight when officers found the drugs in his car.
According to TMZ, the oldest Chrisley will no longer be charged. Reps for the Okmulgee County District Court told the website that they will not prosecute and the D.A.’s Office is dropping the felony drug possession charge. Kyle was spared the charges due to the fact that he is facing more serious charges in the state of Georgia.
The 28-year-old is also wanted for allegedly threatening to kill his wife Alexus Chrisley. Alexus has claimed that her husband threatened to kill her via text messages. When Kyle was arrested for drug charges in Oklahoma he had an warrant for his arrest in Georgia at the time.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, one of Kyle’s texts he allegedly sent to Alexus said, “[N]ot before I end you. Im going to the streets I will get my s—t and take care of this problem with you because if I’m not with you nobody will be [sic]. Bye Alexus.” According to docs, Alexus responded, “thats a threat to my life” to which he allegedly answered, “yes :Lexi it was. Goodbye.”
Todd has spoken out about his son before, claiming that he suffers from mental illness. Kyle, who is estranged from his father and family, is Todd’s son from his first marriage to Teresa Terry, with whom he also shares a daughter, Lindsie.
