Names.Org has revealed what they think the most popular baby names of 2018 will be and not much has changed. For the predictions, the site says, “Our formula looks at the most recent data from the Social Security Administration along with several previous years to detect any trends. It also compares user interest over time as well as interest relative to other names that could make the list to make the predictions.”

Based on the site’s research they think the top boy names for 2018 will be:

  1. Noah
  2. Liam
  3. Benjamin
  4. Oliver
  5. William

Based on the site’s research they think the top girl names for 2018 will be:

  1. Olivia
  2. Emma
  3. Ava
  4. Charlotte
  5. Mia

Kathie Lee described the boy names on “TODAY,” by exclaiming, “the Bible’s coming back!”

To really cover all of their bases Names.Org also notes that people are really throwing out some pretty wild baby names these days, so you know their predictions could be off, “Americans are choosing more unique baby names so the wildcards and other modern baby names could indeed make the most popular lists of this year. So, let’s take a look at some of the potential wildcards that could have a huge rise in popularity this year to take one of the top spots.”
