Former Fox News Anchor Abby Huntsman Joins “The View” as Newest Co-Host

In the ever-changing world of TV, ABC’s “The View” is adding yet another host to the daytime talk show lineup. TV personality Abby Huntsman will be taking a little time to enjoy the view when she joins the daytime talk show in it’s 22nd season, beginning Sept. 4.

Abby—daughter of Jon Huntsman Jr, U.S. Ambassador to Russia—will join Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar and Meghan McCain at the table to talk about hot topics and social and political issues.

The 32-year-old host, who began her career at ABC and most recently held the position of anchor and host of “Fox & Friends Weekend,” will replace Sarah Haines who announced her departure last month. Sarah will be heading out to co-host “GMA Day” with Michael Strahan.

“I couldn’t be more be excited to return to my professional roots at ABC News,” Abby said in a statement. “I look forward to adding my own point of view to the most interesting and successful talk show on television today. Joining the women at The View really is a dream come true!”
