During a year that seems to keep finding additional ways to shock us comes news of yet another death occurring far too soon. This time, it is the death of Bad Girls Club star Demitra “Mimi” Roche, who has died at the age of 34.

“I’m at a loss for words,” remarked record producer Vince Valhalla on Wednesday (July 22.) “Don’t know what to say. Mimi was kind to everyone she came across. She was big dreamer & was a part of our Valholla family. I’m heartbroken by the news of her passing. I’m thankful I got to know & work w/ her. My thoughts are with her family & loved ones.”

Valholla is the founder of Valholla Entertainment, where Roche served as vice president of A&R (Artists and Repertoire.)

“There’s probably not one person who would have something negative to say about her,” Valholla continued. “We lost a beautiful soul.”

The cause of death for Roche has not been revealed.

Fans knew her best from her role on Season 8 of the Bad Girls Club, which aired back in 2012. During her appearance on the show, Roche was known by her nickname The Miami Maverick.

Demitra was 34. We send our condolences to all those who mourn the passing of Roche.
