Just one night after the season 27 premiere of “Dancing With The Stars,” it was already time to say goodbye to one of the dancing couples on Tuesday (Sept. 25.)

But of course, it wasn’t that easy.

In fact, the two-hour episode certainly kept viewers on the edge of their seats, as six couples were announced as being in jeopardy to being voted off the show. In fact, Nancy McKeon and Val Chmerkovskiy, Nikki Glaser and Gleb Savchenko, John Schneider and Emma Slater, Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten, Mary Lou Retton and Sasha Farber, and Danelle Umstead and Artem Chigvintsev all had the chance of going home in their very first week on show.

But when it came down to it, it was, in fact, Glaser and Savchenko that were forced to say goodbye. “You know, it sucks,” the comedienne said at the conclusion of the show. “I’m not going to lie. I really, really like doing this show and I really had such a great time. I hope that I just proved that I did the scariest thing I’ve ever done and I tried my best. … It was so fun! Thank you for having me.”

Just hours before the live elimination show, Glaser headed to her Instagram page to express her hope that she would be spared alongside one of her DWTS castmates.

“We have zero dance experience, tried our best at performing live on tv the first dance we’ve ever learned in our lives, had a couple judges say some hurtful things, and then got the lowest scores,” she wrote alongside a pic of her alongside “Grocery Store Joe” Amabile who actually was spared during the elimination. “We both have a ton of promise and work really hard.”
