It looks like “Dancing with the Stars” fans will soon have another show to record on their DVR! The successful show is set to now spinoff into the upcoming season of “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors,” starring none other than Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson.
The 13-year-old blonde firecracker who came to fame on TLC’s Toddlers and Tiaras show and later in the reality show “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” will now get her chance to show off some of her dancing talents on the new show which will feature hosts Jordan Fisher and Frankie Muniz along with judges such as choreographer Mandy Moore, Val Chmerkovskiy and Adam Rippon.
“I’ve never even watched the show before to be honest,” Thompson exclusively tells People magazine in a new interview. “I wanted to do it because, when they asked me, I thought this is something that I’ve never done and it’d be super fun and a great experience. So I figured, let’s do it!”
Thompson will join 12 other celebrity kids and their professional junior dance partners eager to put their best foot forward on the dancing completion show. One of those other celebrity kids is “Dance Moms” very own Mackenzie Ziegler, who will be partnered with Sage Rosen and mentored by Gleb Savchenko.
So we want to know – who plans to watch this new show?
