If the relentless news cycle surrounding the pandemic isn’t enough to have you shedding a few tears these days, now comes news that the final season of Fuller House is about to begin.
It’s almost too much to take.
On Tuesday (May 12,) Netflix released a new trailer for the fifth and final season of the much loved show, which originally came out as a spin off for the long running broadcast television series Full House.
In the trailer, on-screen sisters D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure) and Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) are seen with their forever friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) as they all prepare for a triple wedding!
“This wedding is one that I never thought would happen,” Stephanie can be heard saying. “I get to marry the love of my life alongside my sister and my best friend.”
The trailer also shows the much-loved cast saying goodbye to the show that made them stars again. Everyone from Bob Saget to John Stamos to Dave Coulier can be seen bidding adieu to one another. The one obvious missing piece of the show’s final season is Lori Loughlin, best known in her role as Aunt Becky. Loughlin is currently awaiting trial for her involvement in the college admissions scandal.
The final season of Fuller House premieres June 2 on Netflix.
