To be a celebrity today, you have to give up your privacy, let strangers in your life, and be completely open to your fanbase. That means that there are some super fans out there that will know what your first job was, how old your relatives are, and minute details like what was the first album you ever bought. Thanks to Jimmy Kimmel, those super fans can now beat their favorite celebrities in trivia about their own lives.
Kimmel pitted Gwen Stefani against one of her super fans in a game of “Who Knows Gwen Stefani?” but it wasn’t as strange as it could have been. Gwen was very sweet and gave her fans a bunch-o-hugs. She was even excited when her fan won. I’d be too competitive for that.
The most interesting fact about Stefani came when Kimmel revealed a picture of her meeting Sting as a teenager. She had a mullet. “I just think Blake and me were always meant to be together because- look! I have a little mullet.”
That she did.
