For the past seven years, Jimmy Kimmel has been blessing our televisions with what might be the greatest prank on children there ever was: the I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy challenge. This year was no exception.
In case you aren’t familiar with how the challenge works, Jimmy Kimmel challenges parents to prank their kids by telling them that they ate all of their Halloween candy the day after trick-or-treating, asking them to film their kid’s reactions.
Just like years past, there was a mixture of reactions this year— kids who were fuming, kids who told their parents they “weren’t mad, just disappointed,” and even some kids who called their parents out and told them they knew it was just a prank.
The one that always hits me in the feels? When the kids say, “It’s okay, mommy. I still love you.” What did we do to deserve kids?
