Kaley Cuoco Opens Up About the End of “The Big Bang Theory,” Plus Her Wish for the Finale

-

After news broke that CBS’ “The Big Bang Theory” would be coming to an end, the cast and crew shared their sadness and heartbreak on social media, thanking fans for their years of support and dedication to watching the show. Filming for the final season is currently underway, which is obviously bittersweet for the “Big Bang” crew— but, of course, they have some opinions on how to really ensure the show goes out with a bang.

Kaley Cuoco appeared on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” to talk about the final season and what her own hopes are for the finale.

“I would like the elevator to get fixed— simple request, right?” she told James Corden. “The stairs have gotten more and more exhausting as we’ve gone on. We’re all a little bit older and it’s a little more difficult getting up those steps— I’d like the elevator to work.”

Fair enough.

Kaley also talked about the emotions their crew felt upon news of the show’s end, saying there were a lot of tears. “It was definitely tough— there was not a dry eye in the room. a lot of hysterical sobs.”

Despite this, she knows it wouldn’t have been any less painful later on. “It doesn’t matter when it ended, we all would’ve been completely devastated.”

The final season of “The Big Bang Theory” premieres tonight on CBS.
