“Last Man Standing” Will Recast Two Big Characters Before the Season 7 Premiere

After six seasons on ABC, “Last Man Standing” starring Tim Alen was canceled, leaving fans disappointed and hungry for more of the Baxter family. Later, FOX came in and swiped up “Last Man Standing” to bring it back for a seventh season but apparently, things are going to look a little different.

According to Deadline, Molly Ephraim and Flynn Morrison, who played the daughter and grandson of Tim Allen’s character, Mike Baxter, have decided to not return to the show, leaving Fox without two of their major characters.

As opposed to coming up with a storyline as to why the characters are no longer there, FOX has decided to recast the characters of Mandy and Boyd. Though no official names have been confirmed for who will play the roles, the show will return on September 28.

Happy birthday to our youngest #LastManStanding, Flynn Morrison! 🎂
