Spoiler alert, it was La Toya Jackson!
“The reason I did this actually was because people have a tendency to prejudge you and the way you sing and they compare you to other people in your family,” said Jackson, who is the sister of superstars such as Janet Jackson and the late Michael Jackson.
“I just wanted to do it and see how far I’d go.”
In the grand scheme of things, she did get pretty far in the singing competition that has already revealed masked singers such as Tori Spelling, Ricki Lake and Terry Bradshaw. And yes, a few of the show’s panelists were able to recognize those distinctive Jackson vocals, with both Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke guessing that it was La Toya.
While the show seems to get weirder by the week, the ratings continue to get bigger and bigger.
According to Deadline, the singing completion continues to land in the top three programs for the night in terms of ratings. And gosh knows people will continue to tune in during the coming weeks to find out the true identities of Bee, Rabbit, Lion, Peacock and Monster.
