TV Comedy Inspired by “Property Brothers” in the Works at FOX

The story of twin brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott and their hit show “Property Brothers” is certainly interesting— but now, it’s apparently the inspiration behind a new comedy series headed to Fox.

According to Deadline, Fox has given a script commitment plus penalty to “It Takes Two,” a single-camera comedy inspired by the memoir by the identical twins, written by another set of identical twin brothers, Jon & Josh Silberman.

Inspired by the Scotts’ bestselling memoir It Takes Two: Our Story, the show follows two entrepreneurial twin brothers who decide to join forces in the real estate business when they realize they are stronger together than apart.

The project will be produced by Eric and Kim Tannenbaum’s The Tannenbaum Company (who produced Two and a Half Men), in association with Lionsgate Television, and Drew and Jonathan Scott’s Scott Brothers Entertainment.

No other details have been released in terms of when we can expect to see a pilot, but we can’t wait to hear more!
