Roseanne Offers One More Apology Before Leaving Twitter “For a While”

In the on going saga of the cancellation of “Roseanne,” due to a racist tweet she posted on Twitter earlier this week, the Emmy winning actress is offering up one more apology to everyone involved.

Roseanne Barr has been very active on Twitter, since first saying she was leaving. The comedienne felt the need to defend herself and fireback at some comments from her cast mates. In a barrage of Tweets and retweets, Roseanne asked for forgiveness for hurting those close to her.

She began telling her fans not to compare her to others who have said bad things.

“please don’t compare me2 other people who have said horrible things. I only care about apologizing 4 the hurt I have unwittingly & stupidly caused. I humbly confess contrition & remorse. I failed2 correctly express myself, & caused pain2 ppl.”

After posting a few songs that she feels relate to her situation and firing back at documentary filmmaker, Michael Moore, Roseanne continued apologizing and thanking God for comfort.

“I ask God2 help me use this bad experience 2 move in2 a better place where I can be more useful to help suffering people who are homeless battered & hopeless in this world, everywhere. Thank U God 4 comforting me,” she wrote.

“i intended to bring ppl together & what a joyous experience it was to work on the Roseanne show again. Enjoyed every moment. It’s not the right time, tho. Going out on top is good!

“I end by offering everyone involved one more apology and prayers for healing of our divided nation. Tomorrow is Shabbat and I will continue to pray that everything for everyone goes forward & ends well for all. signing off twitter for a while. love u guys!”

And with that, Roseanne didn’t Tweet anymore, but she did retweet  supporters comments and then she was done. What happens next, remains to be seen.
