What the Cast of “Roseanne” Has Been Doing Since the Show Ended

As the world gears up for the reboot of “Roseanne” and a new look into the lives of the Conner family, one has to ask– what has the cast been up to since 1997? The show originally aired on ABC from 1988 to 1997, starring Roseanne Barr (Roseanne), John Goodman (Dan), Sara Gilbert (Darlene), Laurie Metcalf (Jackie), Michael Fishman (D.J.) and Lecy Goranson (Becky). Sarah Chalke took on the role of Becky during later seasons of the show.

All cast members are set to return.

Barr, Goodman, Metcalf and Gilbert were in all 221 episodes of “Roseanne,” with Fishman clocking in 220. Arguably, the most successful cast member of the show (not counting Goodman), Johnny Galecki has not been named as a returning cast member. He currently stars in CBS’ “The Big Bang Theory.”
