Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez just reunited.

And yes, it has to feel so good.

In fact, the two old friends back from their days on the Disney Channel seemed to enjoy catching up on a recent episode of Cyrus’ Bright Minded Instagram show.

“Recently, I went to one of the best mental hospitals in America, McLean Hospital, and I discussed that after years of going through a lot of different things, I realized that I was bipolar,” Gomez told Cyrus on the show, according to People magazine. “And so when I got to know more information, it actually helps me. It doesn’t scare me once I know it.”

It was quite the revelation for Gomez to go public with, let alone tell Cyrus, since the two haven’t connected in awhile.

“I’m just really happy that we did this new DM,” Cyrus said. “It was very sweet because you just sent a butterfly emoji. And that’s enough. Connecting with people and letting them know that you’re there. A butterfly emoji is totally enough.”

Indeed, as we continue to muddle through this life trying to withstand the continued spread of the coronavirus, both Cyrus and Gomez admitted that they have had to battle through their share on anxiety.

“There are moments where I just have to center myself and let the thoughts come in,” Gomez said. “Sometimes I’ll write them down, and then completely just sit with, ‘What is it? What is the root of this? Why can I get to the bottom of this?’ And it really helps me.”

So does a good friend at times like these.
