A reality star is dealing with a real-life drama right now, as Shereé Whitfield has announced that she has tested positive for COVID-19.
“I tested positive for COVID-19, so I’ve kind of just really been at home self-quarantining for the past week and a half,” the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star shared on her Instagram account on Tuesday (July 14.). “I just want you guys to know that it is no joke. I’m feeling much better today, thank you to everybody who knew they had not heard from me and reached out… I just have been out of it.”
Whitfield, who now works primarily as a designer, went on to promise that she would go into more detail regarding her symptoms and such in a future post so fans can learn more about what she has been going through as of late.
Just a few weeks back, Whitfield shared a video on her Instagram account of her getting an IV drip to keep ‘her immune system up.’
Whitfield is just one of a growing list of stars from the Real Housewives franchise that have been touched by the cruelty of the coronavirus. In recent months, everyone from virus, including Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jennifer Aydin, Real Housewives of New York‘s Ramona Singer and Bravo host Andy Cohen have either been diagnosed with the coronavirus, or at least tested positive for the antibodies.
Luckily, Cohen is already back to work, recording his show from his home as the pandemic rages on.
